Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning project construction and tracking progress
Report weekly on project milestones and updates to the PM team
Prepare RFPs and send out project documentation to obtain subcontractor bids
Participate in subcontractor meetings and jobsite walk-throughs
Review, summarize, and negotiate subcontractor proposals as needed
Organize, distribute, and track shop drawings and submittals
Maintain accurate RFI and submittal logs
Support punch list creation and project close-out with the field team
Contribute to site quality control in collaboration with the Superintendent and Project Manager
Manage project documentation, drawings, specifications, and as-built files
Monitor jobsite safety practices
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or equivalent role in commercial construction
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Procore
Strong understanding of plan reading, submittals, and specification review
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with multi-level concrete structures
Proven ability to manage relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and city officials
Organized and dependable self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
