Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a global law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Copyright Litigation team based in either their San Francisco or Silicon Valley.

• LOCATION: San Francisco/Silicon Valley, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• An associate with at least three years of experience is needed to join the team at my client's industry-leading copyright practice.
• From startups to the top tech firms in the world, you will work with a variety of clients.
• You will offer strategic advice to media and technology organizations as well as litigate high-profile music industry and infringement issues, including the recent surge of innovative cases contesting generative AI technologies.
• Additionally, the team offers strategic advice to businesses in the music and digital media industries, covering topics such as user acquisition and retention, data/financial reporting, content catalogue development, rights clearance strategy, and business model structuring.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE 

• J.D. from a recognized law school. 
• 3 years of relevant experience working in a Copyright Litigation team.
• Be in good standing with the state bar.
