About the Strategic Content Solutions (SCS)
The Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS’s Language Services division, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media, and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcribing highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS’s Language eXperience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS’s proprietary machine translation, AI, and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure successful and ethical project delivery that meets client expectations while fostering long-term relationships and sustainable growth.
Develop comprehensive estimates and proposals with transparency, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Follow the LQI sales process while embracing adaptability and efficiency.
Maintain organized and accessible project schedules using Microsoft Project, keeping teams informed of updates.
Oversee financial aspects with equitable resource management, invoicing oversight, and strategic change handling.
Champion best practices in project planning, methodology, and collaborative problem-solving.
Facilitate open, effective communication with clients, Network Offices, and internal teams to ensure shared understanding.
Adhere to SDL project processes while continuously seeking improvements that enhance efficiency and inclusivity.
Host and lead engaging discussions that encourage diverse perspectives in conference calls and meetings.
Conduct proactive risk assessments, prioritizing strategic solutions and stakeholder alignment.
Maintain accurate documentation with accessibility in mind for team members.
Support and mentor Project Coordinators/Associates, fostering growth and professional development.
Utilize translation memory tools for efficient file analysis, ensuring consistency and quality.
Identify and escalate opportunities for collaborative process enhancements.
Encourage regular project discussions, documenting key insights and actionable items.
Manage invoicing processes with timely approvals and transparent financial tracking.
Contribute to the development of clear and inclusive process documentation when needed.
