Join us as our new Associate Supply Chain Project Manager...

As our new colleague you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Novonesis' packaging portfolio is compliant with global regulations, for example the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). You will be leading PPWR related packaging projects and aid in the transformation towards more sustainable packaging solutions and thus shaping the future of innovative packaging solutions at Novonesis.

We are seeking professionals with experience in packaging or innovation who are eager to expand their expertise into strategic packaging management, compliance, and innovation.

Further we will support you in your development as a project manager ensuring that the right support and tools are available.


In this role you will make an impact by:
Working on cross functional projects, ensuring compliance with PPWR and the like. In the role you will take on key roles such as:

  • Project Leadership: Coordinating complex packaging projects from initiation through completion and implementation in production, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across departments and regions, including procurement, logistics and engineering, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing, monitoring, and managing project budgets, ensuring effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and suggest strategies to mitigate them, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of all project phases, delivering comprehensive reports and insights at project closure as well as supporting the documentation structured need to be in compliance with e.g. PPWR.

To succeed you must hold:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or another relevant field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience with project management. The packaging projects have different characteristics, and you need to have a basic project management toolbox ready. We will ensure to build on that.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage complexity in both technical solutions and organizational settings.
