About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. Purpose
The Bolter & Drilling Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and service activities on mechanized bolters, jumbos, production drills, and blockholers. This role ensures optimal equipment performance both in the field and in the maintenance shop.

Technical Requirements
Minimum 5–6 years of heavy equipment repair experience (mining equipment preferred).
At least 2 years of experience with mechanized bolters.
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions without supervision.
Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and adapting to technological changes.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
