The Britestack Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently stacking, organizing, and preparing cans for packaging and distribution in a food production or manufacturing facility. This role ensures that cans are correctly aligned, labeled, and stacked according to company standards and quality requirements. The Britestack Operator works closely with production and quality control staff to maintain a smooth product flow, minimize downtime, and support a clean, organized work environment. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience / Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment preferred.
· Prior experience operating automated or semi-automated machinery is highly desirable.
· Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot basic machine operations.
· Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and production instructions.
· Basic math and counting skills; able to maintain accurate production records if required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor of manager.
1. Must be able to operate any brightstacker at speed of production
2. Must be able to inspect pallets making decisions as to their acceptability
and condition for usage
3. Must be able to accurately induct inventory information, including code
changes.
4. Stack cans squarely to avoid damages
5. Any and all jobs assigned by supervisor
6. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating
and helping co-workers.
7. Maintain a clean work environment throughout shift.
8. Effective cross-departmental communication.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Must be mechanically inclined in order to do changeover
2. Must have Speed and Coordination
3. Must be accurate in order to induct inventory
4. Safety minded and conscientious
5. Must have the ability to operate a forklift and pass a company
certification test for Forklift operation.

Job Type: Full-time
Hours:
1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
20 minutes paid lunch
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Work Schedule:
This position typically follows the hours of the shift scheduled to work; however, working days may vary based on season.
Typically, Monday through Friday. Very often Saturday. 12 hours Shifts may be required during busy times.
Pay: Up to $18.68 per hour
Attendance Bonus: $.25 per hour & Documentation Bonus: $ .25 per hour when qualifying
