Purpose of Job:
This role is responsible for development and delivery of BSM Turnaround and Rejuvenation Projects from Define Phase to Operate Phase and at the same time championing GOAL ZERO, flawless Start-up delivery in accordance with the technical specifications, HSSE requirements within schedule and budgeted cost. The incumbent is also responsible to ensure the effective development and management of contracts related to engineering projects, safe, timely and cost-effective project execution while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
Your key accountabilities includes :
• Management and coordination of the activities of the Integrated Project Delivery Team through the application of team working principles and encouraging a co-operative inclusive attitude establishing and maintaining a close working relationship.
• Ensure project auditability and deliver in compliance with Company Policies, Standards and Procedures meeting project’s objectives on HSSE, Quality, Cost and Schedule
• Work with Design & Engineering inhouse/contractor to deliver Conceptual Design and Detailed Designed where required. Ensuring that the work of the Engineering Contractor is implemented in accordance with standards in the contract and within the target budget and schedule. Monitoring engineering processes to ensure that required timely inputs are obtained from suppliers, vendors, TAs and Asset operations
• Work with supply chain team, project materials coordinator, vendors, and suppliers for project materials procurement. Establish and manage the Contracting and Procurement Strategies, Plans and Procedures making use of C&P expertise.
• Work with cost, planning and risk team for project controls.
• Accountable to upkeep the project file up to date maintaining project records to provide the auditable trail on all project information
• Maintain a master action list for the project is an approved standard template
• Manage internal and external interfaces to deliver project milestones. Keeping the Project governance BOM, Project Manager and Functional governance fully informed on progress of the work through DRB/management engagement, the provision of regular cost and schedule progress reports and escalation of potential problem areas
• Perform the Post Execution project requirements such as Project close out, lessons learnt, PIR, As-built, etc
• Act as Contract Holder/Deputy Contract Holder for Engineering Projects.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree Holder preferably in engineering discipline with 3-5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry and in project engineering or HND Holder preferably in engineering discipline with 5-7 years of experience in the oil & gas industry and in project engineering
• Good leadership skills and resource management capability are necessary to balance different or conflicting priorities of project teams, operations, service providers, and contractors, to produce amicable solutions and deliver against tight targets in the best overall interest of BSM
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Full understanding of HSE management principles and their application
