About The Job:

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit a Project Manager – Ceilings to join their team. Our client is a well-established leader in drywall and ceiling system solutions, known for their long-standing reputation in the commercial construction industry. With decades of experience and a strong presence across the Southeast, they offer a collaborative culture and commitment to high-quality work.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced construction professional to manage ceiling installation projects from start to finish. You’ll lead estimating, planning, procurement, and execution, while working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project scopes, identify risks, and clarify expectations with stakeholders
  • Prepare accurate project cost estimates and align bid proposals with profitability goals
  • Manage project schedules and execution from pre-construction to closeout
  • Perform material take-offs, order materials, and coordinate deliveries
  • Oversee punch list completion and final project delivery
  • Conduct client meetings and maintain strong relationships through consultative selling
  • Generate new business opportunities via networking, referrals, and outreach
  • Engage with corporate, institutional, medical, government, and hospitality clients
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of commercial ceiling sales or project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of ceiling products, installation, and field troubleshooting
  • Experience interpreting RFPs, blueprints, specifications, and contracts
  • Familiarity with Quick Bid, On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Additional certifications in Project Management or Estimating preferred
