| QA Engineer |
| We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Perform thorough manual testing of web applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets requirements. |
| Design, develop, and execute API test cases to validate backend services and integrations. |
| Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Playwright and other automation tools. |
| Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software. |
| Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution activities. |
| Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools. |
| Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks. |
| Provide timely and clear test status reports and metrics. |
| Leverage insurance domain knowledge to better understand business workflows and testing scenarios (preferred). |
| Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience |
| 4-7 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on web application testing. |
| Strong manual testing skills for web applications, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing. |
| Extensive experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. |
| Proficient in automation testing with hands-on experience in Playwright. |
| Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices. |
| Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes. |
| Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. |
| Excellent communication and collaboration skills. |
| Experience in the insurance domain is a strong plus. |
| Well versed in using AI tools like GitHub Co pilot |
