Primary Responsibilities

The Construction Millwright is responsible for safely servicing all RoyOMartin facilities.                                            

  • Assist the supervisor with on-site projects and issues that may develop
  • Safely performing installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on all plant mechanical equipment
  • Ability to cut and weld for fabrication
  • Ability to perform sprocket alignments, change various types of bearings, and properly measure layouts
  • Properly and safely rig heavy machinery components
  • Requires flexibility to travel to all RoyOMartin facilities as necessary, which may occasionally involve extended assignments


Job Experience

Required skills, experience, and/or education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Outstanding safety and attendance record
  • One year of industrial experience required, three years of mechanical experience in an industrial environment, preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail in all areas
  • Ability to grasp concepts easily
  • Flexibility with working overtime and weekends as needed
