Masdar is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and under this ownership the company is targeting a renewable energy portfolio capacity of at least 100 gigawatts (GW) by 2030 and an annual green hydrogen production capacity of up to 1 million tonnes by the same year.
Purpose for the role:
With a number of sites in construction and a significant pipeline, a key ambition of Masdar’s is to set up a BESS Operations Control Desk. This desk will be responsible for the monitoring, analysis & scheduling of all assets and act as the key interface between all stakeholders (Masdar, O&M contractors, DNO, OEM and Optimizer).
Control Room Operator will be responsible for the inception of the control desk and play a key role in its development. Reporting to VP Asset Management (Battery Storage), the Control Room Operator will work closely with the O&M Field Manager and Data Team to set up a best-in-class operational function focusing on governance, safety and data-driven decision making. As the operational portfolio grows, there is plenty of opportunities for this role to drive the expansion of the Control Room team.
