The COGAR Group, Ltd. has an immediate need for a Deputy Program Manager to support a federal client in Washington D.C. managing a security force of 70 persons or more. The Deputy Program Manager will administer personnel, functions, project development, and implementation from inspection to deployment; expertise in management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms; and demonstrated capability in managing multi-task Contracts of various types and complexity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the implementation and administration of all security policies, procedures, and security functions to assure compliance with applicable laws, government regulations, customer requirements, and company policies. Implement, and monitor the Quality Control Plan while ensuring the workforce complies with contract requirements. Shall be available during normal working hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) & within 2 hours during the weekend and holidays. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and clients, perform duties in a professional manner and appearance, write and investigate required reports; to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with Five (5) years of experience in Law Enforcement experience (Military Police, Federal, State, or Local)
  • Must be capable of operating Microsoft Office Suite products, Timekeeping software(WinTeam) and etc.
  • Must Meet the below requirements:

a) Successful completion of The COGAR Group Employment

b) Cleared Pre-employment Background Investigation and Drug

c) Successful completion of all required training and certification

d) Possess and maintain a Top Secret Clearance-Sensitive Compartmented information (TS/ SCI) granted by DOE or NRC.

e) Provide proof of compliance with Federal requirements of identity and legal right to work in the United States.

Education Requirements (All)

Bachelors Degree
(5) years of experience in Law Enforcement experience (Military Police, Federal, State, or Local)


Certification Requirements (All)

Federal Emergency Management Certifications(FEMA Courses)
