About the role

This position will help deliver a major digital transformation that supports animal welfare across Victoria.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to lead a full website redevelopment project, including a major re-platform and future redesign. This role is suited to someone who thrives in complex environments, communicates clearly, and can confidently manage technical detail and diverse stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Lead the website redevelopment project from planning through to launch
  • Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams and external digital agencies
  • Oversee CMS migration, system integrations, and technical requirements
  • Ensure strong quality assurance, testing, and governance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Produce clear project documentation and provide regular stakeholder updates
  • Support product ownership activities and contribute to broader digital strategy initiatives

What you will bring:

  • Has proven experience delivering website redevelopment or digital transformation projects.
  • Brings a strong technical understanding of CMS platforms, APIs, hosting environments, and integrations.
  • Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Has high attention to detail with strong organisational and project coordination capability.
  • Is experienced in using project management tools and applying appropriate delivery methodologies.
  • Can translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
  • Has experience in digital product ownership, digital marketing, or contributing to digital strategy.
  • Understands accessibility standards and/or has experience working in not-for-profit or purpose-driven organisations.
