Seeking an experienced DRILL & BLAST AREA MANAGER for our client in Witbank, MP.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the opencast mining industry and will be will be responsible for overseeing several drilling and blasting sites.

Experience & Qualifications
Education:
Honest, reliable, positive, team-player, pressure resilient, deadline driven and persistent.
Skills:
Duties & responsibilities at each company Must Be Clearly Listed on CV.
No criminal record.
Be medically fit & able to pass a medical examination.

Education:
- BSc (Eng) Mining Engineering, or
- DMRE - Mine Managers’ Certificate of Competence.
- DMR Opencast Blasting ticket
- Microsoft Office incl Excel and Word.
Honest, reliable, positive, team-player, pressure resilient, deadline driven and persistent.

- Planning and detailed execution of plans.
- Multi-tasking.
- Problem solving.
- Safety driven.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Minimum of 10 Years in Management role in the Opencast Mining Sector.
- Drilling and Blasting background.
- Managing several complex sites.
- Site Manager and personnel
- Maintaining Client relationships.
- Site costing
