What you will do
This role goes beyond traditional management—it's an opportunity to lead, mentor, and play a pivotal role in driving business success. You'll oversee field staff such as supervisors, tradespeople, and apprentices, supporting them to deliver outstanding workmanship and customer service. You’ll also take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from estimating and tendering through to final delivery and financial performance.
- Project Delivery & Estimation: Design, estimate, and deliver electrical and communication systems, including fibre and network cabling, ensuring projects meet scope, cost, and quality expectations.
- Team & Contractor Management: Lead and support field staff, oversee subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure proper training, compliance, and performance reviews are in place.
- Tendering & Procurement: Prepare and submit tenders, source competitive pricing, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement in line with project needs and financial goals.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project costs, ensure accurate invoicing, assess work quality, and review performance regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
