Electrician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician with expertise in solar panel installations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be able to install, maintain, and certify solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with all industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems and related electrical components.
• Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on solar systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Issue and sign off Certificates of Compliance (COC) for completed installations.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct quality checks and provide technical support when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Recognized Trade Certificate as an Electrician.
• Proven experience in solar panel installation and electrical systems.
• Ability to issue and sign off COCs.
• Strong knowledge of SANS electrical wiring codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
