The Opportunity

Fortreum team members have supported the biggest cloud providers in the world, and you will have the opportunity to work with the best. We are growing rapidly and are looking for candidates with a background in project management in support of large advisory and milestone-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role will specialize in coordinating stakeholders and project plans on delivering assessment projects to cloud service providers (CSPs) and enterprise clients.

  • Develop project plans and timelines in accordance with availability, client needs, and established budgets

  • Coordinate the assignment of appropriate talent for each project based on required scope and skillset with scheduling function

  • Coordinate, lead, or attend client meetings including providing meeting minutes and action items after each meeting.

  • Develop Security Assessment Plans (SAP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Rules of Engagements (ROE) that detail the activities related to the assessment, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, reporting, and remediation.

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders project timelines, requirements, and blockers.

  • Collaborate with delivery team members to drive customer satisfaction and meet project deliverables.

  • Ensure quality products and services are delivered on time and within allotted hours

  • Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Support consultants with time management to include alterations to resourcing schedule of upcoming projects to balance time commitments and set priorities on deliverables.

  • Escalate project or timeline issues to appropriate management.

  • Interface with clients and other internal delivery team members through entire engagement, interacting with all levels of client organizations.

  • Manage priorities, tasks, and assigned hours on projects to achieve delivery utilization targets.

  • Coordinate closeout activities with internal stakeholders upon project completion.

  • This is a customer facing role.

  • Travel is expected to be limited in nature; however, you may be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent job experience.

  • Must have TS/SCI (or TS and willing to acquire SCI).

  • Must be willing to go into SCIF 2X per week, which is located in Herndon, Virginia.

  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple projects where regular interactions with an internal team and customers were required.

  • 3+ years of information security or professional services experience specifically with management of cybersecurity advisory or assessments.

  • Budget management, project management, estimation, capacity planning, facilitation skills, presentation skills, strong communication skills.

  • Knowledge of MS 365 toolset.

  • Ability to plan complex projects then react and communicate deviation from that plan over time.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with FedRAMP or other NIST based frameworks

  • Ability to be self-directed with little oversight

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients

  • Ability to work in a team environment with compliance specialists

  • Comfortable supporting fast-paced team environments
