Description

Cimarron is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs area in Colorado. 

Key Duties: 

  • Manage projects through the entire lifecycle to ensure timely, within-budget, and in-scope completion.
  • Lead project initiation activities, including bidding, estimating, and proposal coordination.
  • Draft and manage Statements of Work for subcontracted efforts.
  • Coordinate and oversee all project-related purchases.
  • Prepare and submit required artifacts for Engineering Review Board gate reviews.
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams to meet project objectives.
  • Identify project risks and issues, and lead mitigation and resolution efforts.
  • Track and report project budgets using earned value management techniques.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and customers.
  • Manage change control processes, including schedule negotiations and impact assessments.
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation.
  • Create and update project schedules to support execution and delivery.


Requirements

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at the time. 
  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.  If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. 
  • 8 or more years of work experience. 
  • 6 or years of direct experience in facility project management. 
  • Ability to apply Earned Value Management.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: 

  • PMP certification. 
  • Experience reading blueprints and design plans. 
  • Proficient with MS Project, Remedy, and Jira.
