Your Role

The FP&A will be a critical partner to the Iberia Original Grocery business, providing insightful financial analysis, strategic guidance, and robust performance management to drive profitable growth. This senior-level role will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring strong financial control and decision-making for Iberia Grocery business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership capabilities.

What you will do

  • Strategic Business Partnering:
    • Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management for TOP LINE providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making and achieve business objectives.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and margin improvement across the value chain.
    • Lead financial due diligence for new projects, product launches, and market entry strategies.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Oversee and drive the annual budgeting process, long-term financial planning, and periodic forecasting cycles (e.g., reforecasts, rolling forecasts).
    • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
    • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, trends, and business drivers.
    • Prepare comprehensive management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership, highlighting key financial metrics and actionable insights.
  • Performance Management & Reporting:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the FMCG industry (e.g., sales volume, market share, gross margin, trade spend effectiveness, working capital).
    • Develop and implement effective reporting frameworks to track business performance at various levels (e.g., product, brand, channel, region).
    • Conduct deep-dive analysis into specific areas of performance to identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Financial Control & Compliance:
    • Ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and mentor a Junior finance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional development.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
  • +5 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a senior finance business controlling role within the FMCG industry is essential.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and providing strategic insights in a fast-paced, complex business environment.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG specific financial dynamics, including trade spend, promotional effectiveness, supply chain costs, and category profitability.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is required.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
