Location: Perth CBD
Scope: Installing Structural Steel for a building construction project.
Duration: December – February (3-month project with potential for extension)
Start: ASAP

We are seeking multiple experienced Intermediate or Advanced Riggers to join a well-established team in the CBD, working on a large building construction project – for an immediate start. This is a 3-month project with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform safe rigging and lifting of structural steel under direction of a Rigging Supervisor.
• Set up, inspect, and use rigging gear (slings, chains, shackles) and guide crane operators during lifts.
• Position, align, and secure steel members during installation on site.
• Maintain safety compliance, including White Card requirements, JHAs/SWMS, and controlled lift zones.
• Work effectively as part of a 3–4 person rigging crew on a busy construction site

Requirements:

• High Risk Work Licence (Intermediate or Advanced Rigging)
• White Card
• Current Drivers Licence
• Previous experience working on a construction site
• Able to pass medical, drug and alcohol tests
• Previous experience supervising a team with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills (if applying for the Supervisor position)
• Able to start ASAP and commit to the duration of the project.
