Internship for Surveillance (SBA), Petroleum Engineering, Development Kota Kinabalu

To provide support for Production Chemistry Surveillance team in analyzing, monitoring and mitigating flow assurance issues that affect the efficiency and reliability of production systems which details tasks will include, but not limited to:

1. Fluid analytical assessment
   1. Assisting in the collection, preparation and analysis of fluid and deposit samples (oil, gas and water) using various analytical standard. 
   2. Conducting routine quality control on analytical results and interpreting analytical results accurately to determine any abnormalities and provide solutions to solve practical problems under the guidance of experienced SMEs.
2. Flow Assurance Management
   1. Supporting the monitoring of flow assurance threat through fluid analytical results, chemical performance and field specifications.
   2. Assisting in the evaluation of fluid compatibility and chemical treatment performance.
   3. Participating in studies to assess the potential of flow assurance issues in different operating conditions.
   4. Evaluate the performance of chemicals treatment program designed to mitigate flow assurance issues. 
3. Data analytics and documentation management
   1. Maintained organized records of analytical results (online & offline), chemical usage and inventory. 
   2. Preparing technical reports, presentations and production chemistry performance updates including contaminants mapping, fluid specifications and Water injection performance, effluent discharge quality and chemical injection performance updates.
