We are experiencing exciting growth and are seeking a skilled and motivated Irrigation Installation Foreman to lead our team in our Venice, FL office.

Your Opportunity:

As an Irrigation Installation Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and managing irrigation installation projects for commercial properties. You will oversee a crew, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. This is a key role within our growing Installation team, offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to our success and grow your career with a reputable company. You will report directly to the Irrigation Manager of a branch and/or region and will be based at our local branch office in Venice, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise an irrigation installation crew, providing clear direction and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Plan and organize daily tasks and project schedules for the installation team.
• Interpret and implement irrigation design plans and specifications accurately.
• Oversee all aspects of irrigation system installation, including layout, trenching, pipe installation (PVC, HDPE, etc.), valve assembly, wiring, and sprinkler head placement.
• Ensure proper installation techniques and adherence to industry best practices and local codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges effectively and efficiently.
• Manage project materials and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet company standards and client expectations.
• Communicate effectively with the Irrigation Manager, other team members, clients (as needed), and subcontractors.
• Enforce all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor irrigation technicians and laborers on the crew.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and a variety of irrigation installation equipment safely and effectively.
• Report project updates and any issues to the Irrigation Manager.
• Assist with site preparation and cleanup as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an Irrigation Technician, with demonstrated leadership experience or a strong aptitude for leading a team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial irrigation system components, installation techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret complex irrigation plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, electrical wiring for irrigation systems, and controller programming.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex installation issues efficiently.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
