Irrigation Technician - Street Department

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Irrigation Technician in the Street Department. The incumbent performs a wide variety of tasks in the installation, repair and maintenance of the City's irrigation systems. High school graduate or equivalent required plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with irrigation installation and maintenance required. A minimum CLIA (Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor) level certification through the Irrigation Association preferred. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable. Must pass written portion of Class B CDL within 6 months of employment. Must obtain OK Commercial Class "B" within 12 months of employment. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting Salary: $19.65274/HR. w/Benefits.
