IT Project Manager

Job Summary:

As an IT Project Manager at Centrus Energy, you’ll be the driving force behind the systems that keep our business running smoothly—from Finance to Procurement - from Engineering to Manufacturing to QA to Production. You’ll lead cross-functional projects that modernize our tech stack, improve user experience, and power the clean energy mission we’re building for the future. Whether you’re coordinating cloud migrations, implementing new tools, or guiding teams through complex integrations, you’ll make sure every project delivers real results and lasting impact.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll plan, lead, and deliver IT projects that enhance Centrus’s business systems and cloud services. Partnering closely with end users, technical experts, and third-party providers, you’ll manage timelines, resources, and risks to keep projects on track and aligned with business goals. You’ll oversee application performance, troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and help users master new systems. Along the way, you’ll champion best practices, process improvements, and innovative solutions that keep Centrus’s IT environment agile, secure, and future-ready.

We’d Love to Hear From People With:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or enterprise-level applications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

A Successful Candidate Brings: 

• Current “Q” or “L” clearance.
• Strong understanding of IT best practices, project management methodologies, and policies
• A proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate others, and manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities
• A proven ability to identify inefficiencies, lead functional and technical teams, and execute successful projects
• Experience in implementing manufacturing ERP system
• Experience in implementing AI technologies that support business systems data mining

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test and vetting to ensure Centrus Energy can meet the requirements of 10 CFR Parts 810 and 1017 to grant access to export-controlled information and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information, respectively.  Such access is required for the performance of this position.
