Role Summary We are hiring an experienced IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to help guide and implement technology solutions for a public transportation agency. This role will work across departments to understand needs, translate them into action plans, and manage technology upgrades that improve operational performance—from backend systems to customer-facing platforms.
Responsibilities
Lead or support implementation of new software and mobile tools (e.g. scheduling, payments, parking, video surveillance)
Translate technical and operational needs into project plans and actionable tasks
Provide input on vendor selection, procurement, and IT budgeting
Create internal documentation and manage asset and contract inventories
Coordinate IT policies, security processes, and compliance efforts
Support integrations with third-party systems and cloud platforms
Generate user and performance reports to track project success
Required Qualifications
5+ years in IT project management, systems analysis, or similar roles
Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, timekeeping, contact management)
Skilled at stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Kronos/UKG, or cloud-native tools
Strong documentation, planning, and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting public or transportation organizations
Background in business process improvement or Lean/Six Sigma
Pay Range $50–$75/hr depending on experience
