Support Senior Loan Officers with lead management while working to obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and sponsorship. 

 

Through training and coursework, show an aptitude for mortgage lending sales, product comprehension, compliance and guideline retention.  Complete the 20 hour SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator course and pass the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator exam. Meet background requirements for license sponsorship.

Major Duties and Essential Functions

Senior LO lead management support:

·         Follow up with mortgage loan applicants to obtain commitment to move forward with financing.

·         Follow up on loans in process for executed disclosures needed to progress the loans into processing.

·         Follow up with purchase pre-approvals progress, as the client searches for their new home; and pass on any loan amount adjustments to the Senior Loan Officer.

 

Training and Coursework

·         Attend and complete the required 20 hour SAFE course required to qualify for the exam.

·         Attend mortgage sales and product training.

·         Shadow with Senior MLO’s on daily operations.

 

·         Licensing and Sponsorship:

·         Take and pass the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Exam.

·         Meet Sponsorship requirements (via background check) for Texas

    Education and Experience:

     

    • Accredited Bachelor’s degree or some college (preferred)
    • 1 Year sales experience (preferred)

     

    LICENSES

     

    • Must pass the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Exam and have the ability to obtain a NMLS license within two weeks of employment. Must not be on an agency watch list or banned list to include but not limited to HUD, FNMA, FHMC or NCUA
