Irrigation Technician
Lawn Management Company (LMC) is searching for a skilled and motivated Landscape & Irrigation Technician to support both irrigation services and landscape installation/enhancement projects for its Southeast Houston branch. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of commercial job sites, supporting the growth, beauty, and functionality of our outdoor environments.
Lawn Management Company (LMC) is searching for a skilled and motivated Landscape & Irrigation Technician to support both irrigation services and landscape installation/enhancement projects for its Southeast Houston branch. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of commercial job sites, supporting the growth, beauty, and functionality of our outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Irrigation Duties:
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and fix leaks, broken heads, valves, and controllers
- Adjust system settings for seasonal efficiency and water conservation
- Identify opportunities to improve irrigation system performance
Landscape Installation/Enhancement Duties:
- Assist with planting, sod installation, mulch, rock, and soil work
- Install hardscape features (edging, beds, small retaining walls, etc.)
- Operate landscaping tools and machinery (skid steers, trenchers, etc.)
- Load, unload, and transport materials to/from job sites
- Follow layout plans and instructions
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- 1–2 years of experience in irrigation or landscape installation preferred
- Ability to read site plans and follow layout instructions
- TCEQ Irrigation License or Technicians License is preferred
- Backflow license is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
