REPORTS TO: Managing Director

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Lawn Operative, you’ll deliver our planned lawn care services to customers, providing expert advice, upselling additional treatments, and helping grow our customer base. You’ll be the face of the brand – building relationships, solving lawn issues, and ensuring every garden looks its best.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a full range of lawn care services including fertilisation, weed control, aeration, scarification, and top dressing.
• Maintain contact with customers before and after treatments (treatment reminders)
• Identify lawn issues and recommend appropriate treatments
• Accurately complete visit records, banking logs, and stock reports
• Operate and maintain professional lawn care machinery
• Ensure all health & safety standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness and servicing of company vehicle and equipment
• Support business growth through customer referrals and marketing materials
• Carry out lawn analysis and quotations
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional appearance
• Liaise with a head office team to offer a seamless customer experience

Full Training will be provided on the job with the opportunity to obtain qualifications.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven track record of customer service and communication
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to operate machinery
