Lead Irrigation Tech

Russell Landscape is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Irrigation Technician to join our commercial landscaping team. This is a hands-on role that requires expert-level knowledge of irrigation systems and strong leadership skills to ensure top-quality service for our clients. You’ll work closely with Account Managers and Branch Leadership to maintain and optimize high-performance irrigation systems across a variety of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily irrigation operations, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple commercial properties.
• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems, including valves, heads, pipes, wires, and controllers.
• Perform monthly irrigation audits and make recommendations for system improvements.
• Install and upgrade irrigation systems, including drip, rotors, and spray systems.
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers (Rainbird, Hunter, and Baseline systems preferred).
• Coordinate with the Branch Manager and Account Managers to schedule and prioritize repairs.
• Ensure all work meets company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Train and mentor irrigation team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations.

Irrigation Specialist Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial irrigation.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Proficient in working with Baseline irrigation systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with Rainbird and Hunter systems required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
