Gettle is currently seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator to oversee Low Voltage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and resources, providing critical support in project planning and execution. The Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator must work cohesively with team members inside and outside the organization, including office and field staff members.
Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator | Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Review and understand project data and develop methods to execute the timely and productive completion of assigned projects.
- Review project proposals or plans to determine work timeframes, funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing projects.
- Establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of the project; arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel with Operations and/or Human Resources.
- Conduct job site visits to monitor overall job progress.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel to ensure the project advances according to schedule and within budget.
- Prepare bid packages, proposals, and detailed breakdowns for submission to clients.
- Identify potential risks, project complexities, and alternative solutions to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and are cost-effective.
- Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
- Track and maintain historical data for future project estimates and compare them with actual costs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Interact with customers, contractors, and utility workers in a professional manner.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator | Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college of technical school; experience will be taken into consideration for candidates without a degree.
- Five or more years' experience as a Low Voltage Project Manager/Estimator will be considered.
- Driver's License is required to travel frequently to job sites.
- Ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Office, Viewpoint, Accubid, and Adobe/Bluebeam.
- Must be able to navigate construction sites consisting of uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders, and work at heights.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grasp, squat, turn body, and walk.
- Able to navigate slick floors, steep grades, and avoid obstacles.
- Able to work in atmospheric conditions such as extreme cold, heat, humidity, and various weather conditions.
- Must be able to move objects up to 50 pounds.
