Job Summary: Millwright
a member of our Maintenance Department responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment. This will be a 2nd or 3rd shift position. Competitive Wages based on experience. Additional Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, this position is eligible for other incentives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installing, repairing and maintaining industrial buildings and machinery
- Reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches,
- Possibly fabricating parts and assemblies
- Welding, brazing and cutting, shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, oxy-fuel
- General plant maintenance
- Perform department duties as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to work any shift
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
- Must be capable of lifting and handling 50 lbs
- Will be exposed to seasonal temperature changes
- Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous mechanical or construction experience a plus
- Welding skills a plus
- Millwright apprenticeship program required
- Machining background required
- Fabrication experience required
