We are currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician (Millwright) for a client in the Netherlands. The role requires excellent Afrikaans, German or Dutch language skills.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with advanced machinery, and ensuring technical systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of production equipment and systems in a dynamic industrial environment. The role involves both independent work and collaboration within teams, with regular interaction with clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic failures
- Conduct mechatronic maintenance on production lines and technical systems
- Install new equipment and provide basic user training to end users
- Participate in on-call service rotations when required
- Implement technical modifications, system improvements, and upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and maintenance reports
Qualifications:
- Completed technical vocational education (MBO Level 3 or 4) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in maintaining mechatronic equipment or production systems
- Competency in independent troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Experience with PLC systems is advantageous
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (B)
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
