Purpose of the Role

The Site Lead serves as the top-level manager at the facility, responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring safe and timely customer deliveries, and cultivating a high-performing team environment. Reporting directly to the GM of Jupiter Bach North America, the Site Lead will play a key role in launching the site, setting up operations, and establishing a strong operational foundation. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead from the ground up and create a best-in-class facility experience.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operational Oversight

  • Build, lead, and inspire a cross-functional team (including QEHS supervisor, drivers, assemblers).

  • Guide the team to meet production schedules and delivery targets.

  • Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure compliance with SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) principles.

  • Act as the central liaison for internal staff, the customer, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Facility & Production Management

  • Participate in setup and readiness activities for new site operations.

  • Maintain security of the facility and inventory of production materials.

  • Oversee sanitation, compliance, and ensure resolution of any operational deficiencies.

  • Monitor and drive production output while avoiding stoppages and upholding SQDC standards.

Communication & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead daily toolbox talks and participate in the US regional daily management calls.

  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing feedback to team members.

  • Complete all required documentation, audits, and reports accurately and timely.

  • Foster a positive work environment in partnership with HR and leadership.

Compliance & Culture

  • Enforce a safe, respectful, and harassment-free work environment.

  • Ensure all team members adhere to work instructions, shift end times, and customer commitments.

  • Maintain agility to adjust to rapidly changing production or delivery needs.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in manufacturing and/or production leadership.

  • Experience in the wind turbine industry and/or with composite materials is a plus.

  • Proven supervisory experience with a focus on motivation, coaching, and team performance.

  • Solid understanding of production principles and site management practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Forklift Certification preferred.
