Marine Payroll Specialist – Offshore Wind Industry

Cadeler is a global partner in offshore wind farm construction and maintenance, and we are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join us in the Marine HR department and help us with the management of all tasks related to the payment of salaries to our Cadeler seafarers.

What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist who is motivated by the challenge of managing payroll administration in a company with an expanding fleet of windfarm installation vessels.

Your main tasks include:

• Manage the month-end-to-end payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries to seafarers.
• Generate payroll reports for management.
• Develop and implement payroll processes and systems to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Drive strong internal control in payroll, working closely with crewing coordinators and the Finance department.
• Serve as an expert on issues related to seafarers’ payroll.

You’ll be part of the crewing team and report directly to our Head of Marine HR. This role is based at our Copenhagen office and is a great opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to grow their career in a dynamic and fast-evolving company within the offshore wind industry.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who knows their way around payroll and enjoys getting things right.

You're organised, reliable, and thrive on structure; accuracy comes naturally to you, and you enjoy solving problems. You work well under pressure, manage your time like a pro, and are a true team player with great communication skills.

As the preferred candidate, we expect you to bring the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration within the maritime industry
• Familiarity with the Danish DIS scheme (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Danish and English
• Experience with Compass is an advantage
