Millwright

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in and around Auburn, WA.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Work on two ram, single ram, horizontal balers, transpak compactors, & conveyors 
• Work on apartment-style compactors, vertical balers, pallet jacks, & dock levelers
• Safe light rigging 
• Maintain accurate records
• Work with industrial hydraulics & welding
• Field stick welding repairs, pipe welding, metal fabrication, etc.
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hydraulic equipment repair and troubleshooting (required)
• Experience with Welding
• Valid WA driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic diagrams and circuits, including function and repair of cylinders, valves, and pumps.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams, troubleshoot electric circuits, and use a multimeter effectively.
  • Skills in safe light rigging
  • Ability to work in a team on large service projects.
  • Basic understanding of Process Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Strong electrical knowledge with a heavy mechanical background in electrical controls.
  • Industrial hydraulics and welding experience.
  • Knowledge of general mechanical systems
  • Must follow all safety measures and be available for overnight travel when needed.
