Canam is recruiting a full-time, permanent Millwright / Industrial Mechanic for our steel joist and deck manufacturing plant in Calgary as part of our ongoing commitment to improvement.

At Canam, working safely is a condition of employment. Employees are regularly exposed to a steel fabrication environment with varying weather conditions, high noise levels, and vibrations. The role involves working near moving mechanical parts, frequent exposure to fumes and airborne particles, and occasional work in high or precarious positions. Potential burn hazards include UV light radiation, open flames, sparks, and other sources. Due to elevated noise levels, appropriate hearing protection is required, and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
This position requires you to work rotating day/evening shifts.
