Millwright - plastics

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Grade 12 and a Red Seal-qualified artisan
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
• Solid track record with injection, compression, or blow moulding machinery
• Cool head under pressure and a hands-on approach
• Sharp communicator and solid team player
• Comfortable with CMMS, SAP, JDE, or Shopware systems (or quick to learn)

What you’ll be doing :

• Keep shifts running smoothly and efficiently, hitting all key production metrics
• Handle both planned and preventative maintenance—electrical and mechanical
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and get machines back on track
• Dig into the root causes and reduce downtime
• Check products for quality and compliance before they move down the line
• Make process changes as needed—quickly and confidently
• Manage proper shift handovers so the next team hits the ground running
• Open and close job cards accurately using Shopware
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Report any unsafe conditions or actions immediately
• Follow all health and safety rules—no shortcuts
• Apply company policies and procedures across the board
