We are hiring a Refrigeration Technician. This role performs repairs and diagnostics on-site and off-sites (50%/50%) on starting and charging systems, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes. Repairs include: performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator/condenser replacements and front & rear main engine seal replacements. We require 4 plus years’ experience working on Reefer and A/C units. Main duties will be troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing components on refrigeration units. If you have experience or completed training on Cold Plate units is a plus.

Refrigeration equipment used:
Your qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 4-year mechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems repair and diagnostic experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL A Preferred).
- Must have an acceptable driving record if driving under the company’s insurance policy.
- Must be willing to take a drug test when required.
- Must have ability to work overtime and on-call as position may require.
- Must be willing to travel up to 400 miles a day; once or twice to LA; occasionally monthly travel to Portland.
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge.
- Must have a complete set of quality hand tools.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods, climb ladders and lift in excess of 50 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Education
- Graduation from general or technical high school, and/or Associate or Technical degreePreferred.
- Possession of Universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate License.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping or crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing,grasping, talking and hearing.
- Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less; bring objects into sharp focus and see up and down or to the right or left while fixed on a point.
- Medium work – exert up to 10 pounds of force continuously and/or over 60 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
- Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
- Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
