Shift Energy Group is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Moncton, NB. This role is responsible for overseeing shipping, receiving, and inventory processes while ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance. About the Role:
As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing shipping and receiving, maintaining accurate inventory records, providing operations coordinator and field support, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This role supports project execution by keeping the warehouse and logistics functions running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Logistics Coordination
- Oversee logistics, scheduling, and dispatch of equipment and materials to support field operations.
- Develop and maintain project and crew schedules, balancing timelines, resource availability, and operational priorities.
- Track and manage tools and assets, ensuring maintenance, calibration, and readiness.
- Support new field staff onboarding by preparing kits, PPE, and materials.
- Align cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Inventory, Shipping & Receiving
- Manage inbound/outbound shipments with accurate documentation and timely delivery.
- Maintain inventory records for solar components and tools using ERP systems.
- Conduct regular audits and support purchasing with forecasting and procurement.
- Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve shipping issues.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Identify and address process gaps; assist with SOP and system implementation.
- Monitor KPIs and generate reports on shipments, inventory, and operational metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy for compliance, audits, and decision-making.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance across operations.
- Maintain safety training and audit documentation.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operational needs.
- All other duties as seen necessary for this role.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an operation, shipping/receiving, or logistics role, ideally within the solar or construction industry.
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs, as needed.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail in addition to excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license (forklift certification is an asset).

Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
