Butch’s Propane is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our remote propane operations from our office in Addison, Texas. This is a critical in-office leadership role responsible for driving field coordination, cross-departmental communication, and operational efficiency across divisions in multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support propane operations across Texas from the Addison office
  • Plan and coordinate field operations to meet business objectives and service timelines
  • Maintain consistent communication with field personnel, senior management, and customers
  • Track operational performance and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee yard and shop organization in line with company standards
  • Collaborate with HR, DOT, and Safety departments to implement compliance programs, resolve employee issues, and support disciplinary processes
  • Address operational challenges including driver delays, missing BOLs, and customer service concerns
  • Recommend process improvements related to technology, logistics, and systems
  • Serve as the main liaison between corporate leadership and field operations

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or propane/oil field services
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, schedules, and operational priorities
  • Familiar with DOT compliance, safety protocols, and industry regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and capable of navigating operational software platforms to support logistics, compliance, and team coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment
