About the Role

As an origination Senior Director, you will be an integral leader in the APAC market. You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team. Your focus will be the Indian and/ or Australian market. In this client-facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.

Responsibilities

• Client Sourcing & Deal Generation: Identify and engage prospective clients (companies) to generate a steady pipeline of investment opportunities
• Initial Screening: Conduct preliminary assessments, including calls and meetings with C-suite executives, to evaluate potential clients.
• Coordination & Communication: Act as a key liaison between prospective clients and the investment team, ensuring seamless due diligence and execution of transactions.
• Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Negotiation and closing: Lead the negotiation process with prospective clients up to the closing stage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience at a top-tier financial institution with a focus on investments: Debt/Credit provider, Venture Capital, Debt Advisory
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a client-facing roles: origination, relationship management, sponsors coverage
• Proven track record in sourcing and closing debt/equity transactions
• Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst- Must Have
• Experience in and understanding of the growth-stage tech landscape
