The Opportunity:
As P&C Project Manager you are part of the PSS organization and Customer Experience Area of Practice and responsible for People & Culture (HR) projects globally or regionally. You take projects from original concept through completion, create and maintain detailed work plans, resource plans and budget. You have the end to end responsibility for project execution using the most suitable methodology, you track project tasks, identify and handle risks and issues, maintain all collaborator relationships, ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables to ensure compliance with current business strategies, relevant standards and legal constraints.
You lead the project team of local and remote team members to successfully deliver business value, provide methodological guidance to the project team, provide coaching/mentoring. Your main responsibilities include:
Delivering the end to end project, meeting agreed quality as defined in project baseline, and selecting the most suitable methodology which could vary from traditional waterfall to agile practices i.e. scrum, SAFE, design thinking, etc.
Setting up a robust project governance structure, defining project scope and key objectives in collaboration with project sponsor, steering committee or Product Owner and identifying all relevant project collaborators, proactively managing relationships and ensuring customer view is reflected in the execution of the project
Preparing and implementing effective communication, change management and training plans for all levels of stakeholders including senior management and creating baseline project schedules and tracking the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones
Actively and effectively handling project spending, resources, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) by carefully assessing potential impacts in collaboration with project teams and dependencies and proposing appropriate mitigation actions and risk acceptance.
Identifying all relevant project stakeholders, proactively managing relationships and ensuring customer view is reflected in the execution of the project. Liaising with and influencing (senior) stakeholders to guarantee business acceptance on a global and regional level across functions
Driving communication around project status, building business confidence throughout project delivery, liaising with appropriate business unit management on both strategic and tactical issues, providing feedback to the organization (such as project risks, deviations, potential corrective actions), determining resource allocation and the right priorities.
Who you are:
Experience in a matrix organization, with a proven track record leading regional or global service project teams, preferably in an HR services environment
Ability to influence and work with complex stakeholder groups to partner in achieving our strategy
Strong cross-cultural communications, influence, leadership, conflict/problem management and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) is essential.
Knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow, and project management softwares is a plus
