Pipeline Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX & Austin, TX
Job Description
Oversee and manage various projects and operational activities within the organization, offering technical guidance and leadership. Ensure smooth execution of tasks related to regulatory compliance, as well as overseeing the construction and maintenance of gas and NGL pipelines, gas conditioning, compression, dehydration, fractionation, and metering processes. Provide support for all related project activities to ensure effective performance and compliance with operational standards.
Job Duties
• Managing and overseeing project execution within budget and timeline constraints
• Creating and maintaining detailed project timelines and schedules
• Assessing contracts related to construction and commercial terms
• Performing basic financial evaluations of the project's viability
• Managing the contracting process, including bidding and selection of vendors and materials
• Organizing and facilitating regular project meetings on a weekly and monthly basis
• Defining project scope and evaluating its financial impact
• Overseeing the acquisition of materials and equipment needed for the project
• Estimating project costs and preparing Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents
• Generating and distributing regular project status reports
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of project management experience within the midstream industry
• Extensive background in overseeing large-scale, interstate pipeline projects, with a focus on pipeline transmission systems, meter stations and compressor stations
• Ability to simultaneously oversee multiple high-priority projects
• Skilled in performing economic assessments for midstream transmission, gathering, and processing projects
