We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our Makhteshim manufacturing facilities. An exciting and challenging career opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated individual, who is passionate about process engineering and production optimization.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Writing regular reports, constant improvement of production processes with an emphasis on improving the utilization of raw materials, reducing waste, improving output and energy efficiency.
• Data collection and process improvement.
• Manage production activities & monitor timelines.
• Assistance in solving process problems in the production facilities.
• Implementation of new technologies in the production facilities.
• Employee training.
• Writing work instructions.
• Writing software instructions and performing simulations.
• Close cooperation with R&D, engineering, maintenance, quality and production departments.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering - a must.
• 2-3 years in a similar role in the chemical industry.
• Strong background in Excel and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to lead, oversee and manage projects.
• High technical and engineering understanding.
• Experience with equipment and engineering processes in production facilities in the chemical industry.
