ADAMA India is inviting applications for the Process Safety Engineer position on our R&D Team.
The details of the role are as follows:
Preferred candidate profile:
- Qualification: M. Tech- Desirable / B. Tech (Essential) in Chemical Engineering from a reputed college/ university.
- 5-8 years of experience reputed organization from a similar background.
Role & responsibilities
- Independently operate and maintain RC1mx equipment & its accessories.
- Perform heat of reaction calculations.
- Analyse processes for thermal runaway reactions and the magnitude of pressure during thermal runaway.
- Proficient in the operation of high-pressure calorimetry.
- Technical interpretation of the RC1mx results.
- Experience in operating other safety testing equipments like ARC, high-pressure DSC.
- Support Hazop sessions from R&D point of view & prepare reports.
- Provide training on operation of RC1 and suggest improvement solutions.
- Well-versed with evaluation of safety data like RC1mx, ARC, DSC, TSU, Dust Explosion, MIE, etc. in-house or at 3rd party for various products.
- Understanding of concepts of chemistry and critical reactions, kinetics & impurity profiling.
- Provide excellent technical support with documents to improve the process safety with respect to heat of reactions of various complex reactions.
- Experience on flow reactors, photo reactors will be an added advantage.

- Accelerating Reaction Calorimetry (ARC) operation.
- Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) Operation.
