We are looking for a Project Manager in our Corporate Planning and Projects department, so if you’re passionate about business planning, project management and have knowledge and experience in creating and managing a project plan that outlines deliverables through to successful implementation, we’d like to hear from you.

This opportunity offers the ability to work remotely from anywhere in British Columbia.

What’s the role?

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for driving the organization's corporate planning process and managing various projects and initiatives across the organization that support the effective and efficient delivery of business solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate planning sessions, monitor project performance, and ensure effective communications with stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities include developing detailed plans to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects in addition to measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. You will provide effective leadership to the project team by creating a trusted environment that fosters collaboration and innovation. Your leadership and oversight will also be instrumental to the development of a project strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.

Your duties will include:

  • Designing, facilitating, and administering project plans for a variety of corporate initiatives/projects.
  • Project managing the development of the organization's strategic business plans as well as the annual operating plan process.
  • Monitoring assigned projects to ensure delivery is within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Consulting with key stakeholders across the organization to continuously seek opportunities to improve the planning process. 
  • Assisting and providing project management expertise.
  • Overseeing stakeholder management and communication for each initiative being managed. 
  • Supporting the development and delivery of communication tactics to support success of various corporate initiatives. 
  • Facilitating post-project reviews, delivering key insights, and lessons learned to project leads, subject matter experts, and sponsors. 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma requiring 3-4 years of full-time study or have an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • A PMP (Project Management Professional) credential designation and/or equivalent combination of experience and education such as project management graduate certificate would be an asset;
  • Minimum of 3 years of project/portfolio management experience;
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including implementation of projects;
  • Proven experience in facilitating and leading groups and/or teams of executive level positions.
  • Experience supporting the development of strategic and annual operating plans is an asset.
  • Experience in merger and integration work is an asset.

  • Strong social networking skills;
  • Experience in a financial institution is an asset.

Career Band Range (Annual Salary) - $72,535.00 to $85,322.00

The posted salary range is designed to reflect a broad career band, encompassing a variety of roles within our organization and serves as a general guideline. Your final compensation will be tailored to your unique skills, experience, and the responsibilities of the role.
