What You'll Do:

 

  1. Project Planning & Initiation

    •     Define project scope, objectives and deliverables.

    •     Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocation.

    •     Identify potential project/safety risks and establish mitigation strategies.

     

    1. Execution & Monitoring

    •     Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

    •     Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

    •     Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

     

    1. Stakeholder Management

    •     Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

    •     Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

    •     Provide regular status updates and present reports during weekly management meetings.

     

    1. Budget & Resource Management

    •     Prepare and manage project budgets including contractor progress claims.

    •     Allocate resources efficiently and resolve on-site/off site issues or conflicts.

    •     Ensure financial accountability and cost-effectiveness across assigned projects.

     

    1. Quality Assurance

    •     Ensure work completed and deliverables by the vendor/contractor meets quality standards.

    •     Conduct project and safety reviews, implementing improvements where necessary.

    •     Document lessons learned, particularly regarding safety lapses to reinforce and enhance workplace safety practices.

 

What You'll Need:

 

  1. Degree from a recognized university
  2. Proven experience as a Project Manager (3–5 years preferred)
  3. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and computer software (e.g. MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Project)
  4. Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
  5. Ability to work independently and in teams
  6. Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  7. Possess a valid driving licence and having own vehicle is preferred
  8. Professional qualifications in project management are an advantage
