Commercial Project Manager. This is a Direct Hire

Role Overview
Project Management

Review, track, and maintain project documentation including subcontracts, purchase orders, and payment approvals

Manage and record project communications and changes through RFIs, submittals, change directives, change orders, and written correspondence

Track buyout progress and monthly cost reports to ensure accurate financial forecasting

Monitor schedules and budgets to meet profit and performance goals

Prepare accurate estimates for upcoming projects

Coordinate with owners and design teams regarding future project opportunities

Field Support

Share long-range schedules with subcontractors and suppliers

Support superintendents by clearly communicating safety requirements and project updates

Track material deliveries and actively manage procurement to avoid delays

Project Leadership

Build and maintain strong client relationships while balancing schedule, quality, and cost expectations

Review drawings, specifications, and cost data to fully understand project scope

Develop clear project plans, establish priorities, and assign responsibilities across the project team

Create and maintain detailed planning tools such as look-ahead schedules and owner meeting documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering, or related field preferred

5+ years of construction experience, ideally in a leadership or management capacity

Equivalent experience and training will be considered

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to coach and support team members through complex situations

Demonstrated discretion with sensitive information

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Experience with Timberline or similar software is a plus
