What you'll do:
Manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. Typically managing functional sub-projects with medium complexity (functional overall responsibility) or cross-functional projects with low-medium level of complexity. Teams have a medium complexity in composition, can be in different places and consist of a mix of competences. Typically dealing with main Project Manager, Project Sponsor and steering committee members for the project and relevant Line Managers.
In detail, you will:
Development and implementation of product concepts and ideas from customers and marketing into executable project requirements
Establish, track and report of project plans through use of established Project Management Tools and use of best project management practices (Schedules / resource plan / project tracking)
Coordinate the development of technical product documentation required for project execution, such as product specification, technical specification, test plans, DFMEA, etc.
Chair and report out all project meetings to include design reviews, check point reviews, weekly meeting as defined
Development and tracking of project expenses for projects assigned
Coordination with other departments such as model shop. Agency lab, CAD, Reliability, Consumer science for specific deliverables as and when needed
Ensures the project development from OA till CP3
Ensure the timely preparation and execution of engineering project documentation (ECN’s BOMs, Drawing and Specifications)
Demonstrate creative ability through continuous improvement
Interface and coordinate follow ups with Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, supply chain and outside suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all project requirement / deliverables
Fully support company programs, policies, and objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor ’s Degree in Engineering
At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in R&D project management from appliances industry preferred
Project Management training/education and familiar with PMI terminology and PM tools
