Job Description

Drive digital innovation and revenue growth by leading a high-impact API monetisation program. We’re seeking a results-driven Project Manager to take ownership of a strategically important initiative focused on unlocking the commercial potential of APIs in a large enterprise environment.

You will lead a strategic initiative focused on unlocking the commercial value of APIs within a leading enterprise environment. This high-visibility project sits at the intersection of product, technology, and business, aiming to develop, scale, and monetise a suite of APIs that drive new revenue streams and enhance customer experience.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the API monetisation program. This includes overseeing project planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, governance, and reporting. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, API Architects, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.

You will coordinate internal and external delivery teams to define the API catalogue, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies. Agile delivery practices will be central to your role, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes are delivered to a high standard. You'll actively manage risks, resolve blockers, and maintain strong momentum throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Regular communication with senior stakeholders will be key, as you provide clear project updates, manage expectations, and drive decision-making to keep the program on track. Your ability to maintain structure and focus in a fast-paced environment will be critical to the project's success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering API strategy or API monetisation initiatives in large enterprise settings (Telco, Banking, Tech preferred).
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills – you're confident in the boardroom and the war room.
• Strong grasp of agile and hybrid delivery models (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, or Prince2).
• A natural collaborator who brings structure, energy, and focus to complex delivery environments.
• Bonus: Familiarity with developer ecosystems, API gateways (e.g., Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft), or partner onboarding processes.
